The world's longest water slide is now fully operational again!

Open for business

They are back in business!
The Star Online
reported that the mammoth water slide, located in the Escape Theme Park in Penang, is one of 40 attractions in the park that will be reopened after the government announced that theme parks around the country are allowed to reopen their doors this month.

Its CEO, Sim Choo Kheng, told the news portal that visitors can expect some changes in the park, as the three-month closure due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) period has enabled the workers to plant more trees and larger plants all around the park.

The park has also been given a thorough clean-up, Sim told the news portal.

On top of that, the park will only allow 1,000 visitors in at a time to ensure that social distancing are observed while you're having fun.

The main highlight of the theme park is, of course, the giant water slide.

Opened in 2019, it stands 70m from the ground -- above a mini forest, nontheless -- and it boasts a jaw-dropping 20 turns and five loops.

The entire water slide spans a whopping 1,111 meters long, and according to this report, it will take you almost four minutes to get from the top all the way to the bottom of the pool.

And yes, the slide has been certified by Guinness World Records as the world's longest water slide.

What are you guys waiting for? It's time to get your adrenaline running!
