The news became a hot topic amongst Malaysians as he had recently joined a special meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office alongside other cabinet members just a few days before the Ministry of Health confirmed his case.
Now, after nine days being treated at a hospital in Seremban, the minister has been discharged after recovering from COVID-19.

“Segala puji bagi Allah yang mana dengan nikmatnya sempurna segala kebaikan.”
Dr Zulkifli shared the news via his Twitter account and says that although he’s allowed to go home, the Health Ministry has advised him to rest at home until the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) is over.
“Thank you YAB PM, ministers, religious leaders from all over the world, and Malaysians who have sent me messages and prayed for me. Not forgetting our Health DG, and all KKM staff especially at Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar.”
“For now, I am advised to not meet anyone therefore any meeting would be done via video calls only. I will continue to monitor all progress and reports under my duty from home.”
The senator also added that he’s now focused on providing help for those who are impacted by the CMCO in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya.
He also prayed for the recovery of other Malaysians who are also positive COVID-19.

Before leaving the hospital, Dr Zulkifli handed out some religious books as a token of appreciation for out frontliners.
