Yes, it's boring. Yes, it gets annoying. Yes, sometimes you just want to run out of your homes because you can't stand being inside any longer.

But before you do, just think about the good things you have going on in life first.

At the very least, we should all be grateful for having a roof over our heads and food on the table.

Not many people have this basic luxury and Fendi is one such person.

Cycling for over 1km for help

According to a report in Malay Mail, the 28-year-old father of two had to chase an aid distribution van on a bicycle just to get something to feed his family with.

“I would like to ask for some help sir. I heard that you are distributing supplies, can I ask some for my wife and kids at home, please?

“There’s nothing to eat at home, please dear sir I beg of you,” he pleaded to Persatuan Generasi Prihatin Sabah manager, Yusnizam Yusop.

Yusnizam shared the story on Facebook of how Fendi had cycled about 1.5km from Kampung Bakau to Kampung Sundang, to catch up with Yunizam and the distribution van.

Sadly, the organisation couldn’t help Fendi that day because the food stock available was reserved for another needy family.

However, the organisation left their contact number with Fendi and sent some food supplies to him the next day.

There are many people out there like Fendi.

If you have the means, donate to an organisation that's helping them or if you know someone personally, do what you can to lend a hand.
