A parent's love knows no bounds.

If you think about it, it's the same with love showered by dedicated teachers.

They take care of us just like our parents and care just as much for our wellbeing and growth.

Here's an example of one such teacher.

Teacher Harry Yanto Bikal or fondly known as Teacher Harry recently was reported to have wrapped and carried a refridgerator on his back for eight hours just to deliver it to his students.

The fridge, which was purchased by the teachers from SK Longkogungan in Penampang, was meant to keep food, including fish vegetables and meat fresh for students living at the dorm.

Not a walk in the park

Malay Mail reported that his journey was not an easy one.

He had to tread carefully through the jungle, cross a stream and even balance himself on a tree branch - all while bearing the weight of the fridge on his back.

Just imagine!

A video of his challenging journey was uploaded on Facebook by another teacher, called Hajah Maznah Abd Ghani.

"May God bless you, Harry for taking up seven to eight hours of your time just to carry the refrigerator on your shoulders.

"This is a sacrifice of a teacher, and it cannot be paid through millions of ringgit," read the post.

The report, quoting Harian Metro, said Teacher Harry had to resort carrying the fridge as there was no proper road leading to the rural school.

A follow-up report by Online Malaya quoted Teacher Harry as saying," It was definitely tiring, and I even developed bruises on my shoulder. But when I saw the happy faces of the students when they saw me carrying it, all the tiredness disappeared," he said.

Anything for the kids.
