Cheah Liek Hou brings home Malaysia's maiden gold medal in Paris Olympics 2024

Early in September, Cheah Liek Hou brought joy to Malaysia when he won the country's first-ever gold medal in the Paris Paralympics 2024.

The 36-year-old athlete secured a win over Indonesia's Suryo Nugroho in the men's singles SU5 (upper body impairment).

Uncle Roger opens his first restaurant in KL

Famous Malaysian-born comedian Nigel Ng, better known as Uncle Roger, has opened his first restaurant in Pavilion Elite. The restaurant serves four different types of fried rice, and prices start from RM16.

Uncle Roger rose to international stardom in 2020 after his criticism of BBC Food presenter Hersha Patel's fried rice went viral on YouTube, with over 39 million views.

Famous streamer IShowSpeed visits KL & gets chased by a mob of screaming fans

Top Streamer IShowSpeed visited Kuala Lumpur in mid-September, and his visit was eventful as fans chased him all around town.

Despite being mobbed by fans as he visited the city, Speed appeared to have a good time. He tried some local food like the Ramly burger and even paid RM181 for some durian.
