Following Azizulhasni Awang’s glorious win at the 2020 Asian Track Cycling Championships, comes another good news for Malaysian sports.

National bowling legend Shalin Zulkifli shows the youngsters that she still ‘has it’ after striking gold at the Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships in Kuwait in the women’s singles category.

According to The Star, the 41-year-old scored 1,498 pinfalls ahead of Indonesia’s Nadia Pramanik, who scored 1,492 pinfalls.

Fellow Malaysian bowler Sin Li Jane made it a sweeter podium finish for the Malaysian camp when she placed third in the same category with 1,469 points.

We have a 1-3 win, guys!
And just a day after the women’s triumphant feat, Timmy Tan delivers another gold medal for Malaysia in the men’s singles category.

The 25-year-old defended his title with 1,556 pinfalls, ahead of India’s Dhruv Sarda, who was behind by just 34 pins.

Japan’s Shusaku Asato of Japan placed third with 1,522 pins.

Congratulations to our national bowling team for the win! Wondering who will be next on the list of “making Malaysia proud” in sports.
