The couple could be back sharing their much loved recipes as soon as next week.

The couple's manager Kumaravelu confirmed this when contacted by Rojak Daily.

Kumaravelu who replied via text also assured that the couple were doing well.

He then repeated an earlier statement saying that the couple needed some time off and wanted to focus on their personal lives.

Videos not deleted

Clearing up doubts, Kumaravelu also said that the videos which fans noticed were missing from the Sugu Pavithra YouTube channel were not deleted but hidden for the moment.

The couple rose to fame during the Movement Control Order (MCO) with their simple yet easy-to-follow recipe videos which were conducted in Bahasa Malaysia.

The channel became so popular that the two even got to meet the Prime Minister and Pavithra, who was the main presenter of the videos was awarded the 'Ipoh City Icon' title.

Following the award, the couple made headlines again when Sugu was charged with allegedly attacking Pavithra and for the unlawful possession of a 26-inch sickle at the Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun on July 21.

The arguement was said to be due to a dispute relating to the award.

Since the court case, the couple announced that they did not want awards.

“We want to live normally and just want to focus on our YouTube channel.

“There’s no need to idolise us as we are not really qualified to be an icon, ” she said after posting bail for Sugu at the Ipoh lower courts here on July 24 as reported by The Star.

Many fans of the channel which has 788,000 followers were disappointed after finding that all the videos were no longer there last week.

So, you guys, jangan sedih.

It looks like they just needed some time.
