Team M’sia Bags 3rd Place at 2025 Pastry World Cup in France
Malaysia proudly won third place at the prestigious 2025 Pastry World Cup, also known as Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, which was recently held in Lyon, France.
The team, which consisted of Fong Kah Mun (chocolate), Foo Yi Qing (sugar), and Tyler Tan (ice), delivered an outstanding performance on the global stage. They finished just behind their home country, France, and Japan.

The theme for the final was national heritage
For the 2025 final, all 18 teams from different countries were required to create three frozen desserts, 10 plated restaurant-style desserts, 26 chocolate pieces and three artistic sculptures, each made from chocolate, sugar and ice.
To add more to the stake, the teams needed to complete their tasks in nine hours!
