A video which captured what looked like a ball of fire dropping from the sky has gotten many excited on social media.

The clip, which looked like it was captured on a vehicle dashcam was first posted by Facebook user Violet Crystal.



The user claimed that the video was taken in Johor Bahru at around 5am on Wednesday (5 February).

The clip shows the ball of fire appearing as a small flicker and then growing into a big bright object before disappearing.

Rojak Daily tried to get in touch with the authorities from the National Space Agency but they have yet to comment on the matter.

Social media users however, have their own theories.


Interestingly, several Facebook users also commented that they saw the same ball of light and they, too, didn't seem to know what they just witnessed:
