Two men from Kartnaka, India thought they were going out for a joyride on their motorcycle, but it soon turned into a run for their lives, as a tiger suddenly jumped out of nowhere and chasing after them.
Nope, we didn't just describe the plot of a Bollywood movie.
The harrowing incident was captured in a nine-second video, which has been making its rounds on social media.
In the video, which was taken by the pillion rider, the feline can be seen running in the woods alongside the motorcyclists, before it jumped onto the road and started giving chase.
After a heart-racing chase which saw the tiger matching the pace of the bike, the animal ran back into the forest on the opposite side of the road after the motorcyclists pulled ahead.
The video was believed to have been recorded near the Nagarhole National Park, which is home to more than 70 Bengal tigers.
The video, which was uploaded on the Forests and Wildlife Protection Society - FAWPS Facebook page, has since gone viral, racking up more than 930,000 views and almost 10,000 shares on Facebook.
According to the moderators of the FAWPS page, the two men were reportedly from the Forest Department, and they were out and about investigating reports of a tiger sighting in the area. Previously, it was reported that a tiger in the national park killed three people.
