First he directs, then he defends!

By now, you must have heard that the mighty Argentinians were held to a 1-1 draw by the lowly Iceland team at the 2018 World Cup, with star player Leo Messi having his penalty saved by Iceland's goalkeeper.

The draw was significant in several aspects: one, with a population of only 334,000, Iceland is the smallest ever country to ever qualify for the World Cup, so holding a team led by arguably one of this generation's greatest players to a draw is a monumental feat.

And two, most of the players on the Iceland team only play football on the side as they also have a day job - including Hannes Thór Halldórsson, the man who saved Messi's penalty.

The hands of God?
When he's not saving penalties, he works as a film director.

Up until four years ago, Hannes has worked on several commercials, a music video for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest and a full-length feature film.

Now that he's a professional footballer and a national hero, one of his works of art has surfaced online - a World Cup commercial for Coca-Cola.

You guys need to check out the video below, because it's absolutely awesome:

According to Business Insider, the commercial will be shown in his home country throughout the 2018 World Cup.

The commercial features gorgeous views of Iceland, the 'kita boleh' spirit of football fans in the country, his World Cup colleagues and most importantly, the magnificent SKOL chant that is now famous around the world.

We don't know about you, but this video makes us want to go to Iceland and play some football or something.

Doing the SKOL!
Hey, if they want someone to direct a documentary or a movie about Iceland's fairytale run in the 2018 World Cup, they already have the person for the job.

We are behind you all the way, Iceland!
