Spending a day at the zoo and hanging out with our animal friends can be quite relaxing.

Until, of course, someone starts swearing at you.

And in this case, that 'someone' is actually a parrot.

Bad-mouthed birds

9news reported that a total of five parrots were forced to be removed from the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park in England after they started swearing at customers.

The report said the birds were donated to the wildlife park and just days after that, they started cursing at staff and visitors.

The venue's chief executive Steve Nichols said that the parrots just went ballistic and they started swearing.

"We were a little concerned about the children.

"I get called a fat t--t every time I walk past," Nichols was quoted as saying, adding that the birds were donated by five different owners within the same week.

Wash your mouth with soap.
Oh, in case you're wondering, the most common curse word the African grey parrots uttered is ‘f**k off’ because it's the easiest to learn, Nichols said.

But Nichols also added that the birds would "would utter anything you can think of."

He revealed that swearing birds are not something unusual, as they take in three to four a year.

The park did not mention when the parrots will be available for public view again, but they hope that the birds' vocubalary will be more family-friendly now that they're seperated.

Let’s hope the birds will behave soon!
