The pace that the Covid-19 outbreak is currently spreading has caused fear and panic around the world.
Thankfully, most people have kept calm, but there are others out there who resort to extreme measures to stay protected.
Like this one woman from the Jiangsu province in China.

Li reportedly tried to disinfect the bank notes by putting them into the microwave, thinkng that the heat would kill the virus.

Naturally, when you place paper products into high heat places like inside a microwave, it would catch fire and burn.
That was exactly what happened to Li’s banknotes.

She reportedly noticed a burning smell coming from the microwave less than a minute later and acted swiftly to take the notes out.
But it was too little too late, as she reportedly burnt about 3,000 Yuan (RM1,828) worth of notes beyod recognition.

Thankful-Li (heh!), she managed to bring the notes to the bank and get most of them exchanged for new ones.

Burn it with fire
