He’s the new mascot for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games which is set to take place from July 28 to August 8 next year.
What you may not know is that Perry has a Malaysian connection.
According to a report by Birmingham Live, Perry was created by British-Malaysian Emma Lou, who’s only 10-years-old!
Emma's design was chosen following a national competition which took place last year.

The design competition was specifically directed towards children aged 5 to 15.They were told to create a mascot that best reflects the identity, heritage and culture of Birmingham and the West Midlands.
“I chose a bull because of the Bullring in Birmingham, and I decided to use hexagons because they are the strongest shape and the whole world depends on each other and I am so excited that my design will be seen by so many people,” said Emma.
What an accomplishment! Well done Emma!
