Konsert kumpulan R&B dan hip-hop popular Malaysia, Ruffedge yang bakal berlangsung minggu hadapan terpaksa ditangguhkan.

Pengumuman itu dibuat menerusi akaun Instagram rasmi Ruffedge semalam.

Penangguhan itu dilakukan adalah disebabkan penularan wabak COVID-19 (koronavirus).

“Selaras dengan arahan baru Kerajaan Malaysia yang diumumkan pada 13 Mac 2020 iaitu untuk mengelakkan perhimpunan awam, meminimumkan pendedahan kepada COVID-19, Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) secara proaktif mengambil pendekatan berhati-hati untuk menangguhkan konsert tersebut kepada tarikh baru, Isnin, 23 Mac, jam 8:30 malam.

“Pendekatan ini diambil berdasarkan garis panduan untuk mengekalkan jarak sosial bersesuai dengan arahan COVID-19 yang dikeluarkan oleh Kerajaan Malaysia, Kementerian Kesihatan dan Kementerian Pendidikan.

“Kami memberi keutamaan kesihatan kepada tetamu yang bakal hadir ke konsert, pemuzik dan juga pekerja kami dengan melaksanakan dan menyampaikan perubahan sesuai bagi memastikan persekitaran selamat,” maklumnya.
