The content creator, who currently resides in Indonesia, shared the video on Threads, where she began by wishing Malaysians a Happy Independence Day. She was also seen wearing a pink baju kurung.

However, many Malaysians took issue with her rendition of 'Negaraku', claiming that she did not stand respectfully while singing the anthem and made hand gestures during the performance.
She also sang the anthem using a different tune, resulting in a rendition that deviated from its official melody.
Malaysians were not having it
Unsurprisingly, the video attracted widespread attention from Malaysians, many of whom criticised her for what they viewed as a disrespectful performance of the national anthem.
