Malaysia's first official Pokémon Centre pop-up store will open at Ombak KLCC on 12 September.
The mall will also be home to the new Galeri Petronas, a 3,501sqm rooftop garden, and the Stargazing Plaza, a community space designed for events, performances and public gatherings.

Mall hoppers in Kuala Lumpur now have another shopping destination to explore, as the highly anticipated Ombak KLCC officially opens its doors to the public today.

Developed by KLCC Holdings Sdn Bhd, the same company behind the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and Suria KLCC, the new shopping centre features a distinctive wave-inspired façade and a direct underground link to the MRT network.

One of Ombak KLCC's most notable tenants is Malaysia's first official Pokémon Centre pop-up store.

However, while the mall officially opens today (21 August), the Pokémon Centre pop-up store will only begin operations on 12 September.

So, if the pop-up store is your main reason for visiting, you may want to plan your trip for later in September instead.

Beyond its mix of retail and F&B tenants, Ombak KLCC has been designed with a strong focus on art, culture and public spaces. A major highlight is the new 18,600sqm Galeri Petronas, which will relocate from Suria KLCC and anchor the mall's cultural offerings.

The mall also features a 3,501sqm rooftop garden with panoramic views of the Petronas Twin Towers, while the 10,000sqft Stargazing Plaza next to KLCC Park is set to host future pop-ups, performances and community events. Adding to its appeal, the plaza is connected to jogging paths that link directly with KLCC Park's existing track.

How to get to Ombak KLCC by public transport

The easiest way to reach Ombak KLCC via public transport is by taking the MRT Putrajaya Line.

Simply alight at Persiaran KLCC MRT Station, and the mall is just a two-minute walk away.

Best of all, the route is connected via an underground passage, so visitors can reach the mall without having to step outdoors, making it especially convenient during Kuala Lumpur's unpredictable weather.
