Two schoolgirls had a horrifying encounter while walking in a residential area after a man allegedly exposed himself to them while seated in a car.
The incident occurred at about 1 PM on Wednesday (1 April) in Bandar Baru Uda, Johor Bahru. CCTV footage from a nearby house showed a black Honda Accord idling along Jalan Padi Mahsuri 10. At the same time, the footage captured two girls, believed to be wearing Uniformed Units attire, walking along the road.

Seconds later, the driver was seen calling out to the girls. One of them approached the car briefly before turning away. Moments later, the girls were seen running off after turning a corner.
The driver was then captured reversing his car towards the same corner before fleeing the scene.
The man was arrested later that same day
The New Straits Times (NST) reported that a police report had been lodged by the father of one of the girls. Johor Bahru (North) Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Radin Ramlan Radin Taha said the girls involved are aged 10 and 12 and are cousins.
“A 33‑year‑old man claimed that his daughter and niece were approached by a man in a black Honda Accord. The suspect allegedly asked for directions to a toilet before exposing himself to the victims,” he said.
Later that day, the suspect, a man in his 50s, was apprehended at a house in Masai.
The suspect has been remanded to assist with investigations. The case is being investigated under Section 15(a)(i) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 for non‑physical sexual acts, including indecent exposure. If convicted, the offender may face up to 10 years’ imprisonment, a fine of up to RM20,000, or both.
