Students from three secondary schools got the shock of their lives during a seminar when a man in the crowd was caught with his pants down.
The incident reportedly occurred at the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU). A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
In the clip, the man can be seen standing up while pulling his pants back on. Another man, believed to be a teacher, is seen chasing him out of the hall.
According to a social media post, only one of the schools required its students to wear uniforms, while the others allowed casual attire.
The situation in the hall took a turn about half an hour into the seminar when a girl began crying. It was then that a guidance teacher caught the man with his pants down and immediately told him to leave the hall.
Claims that he was masturbating
An allegation circulated online claiming that the man was masturbating before he was caught. However, APU’s chief operating officer, Gurpardeep Singh, has denied this allegation.
“He was not masturbating but had removed his pants,” he said, as reported by FMT.
It is understood that the university informed the police shortly after the incident, and officers later determined that the man was mentally ill.
An internal probe is reportedly underway to determine how the man, who has no ties to the university or the schools, managed to enter the hall with the students.
