Now imagine spotting a man strolling through the night dressed in a full Japanese soldier uniform. That's exactly the bizarre scene that recently left many Malaysians puzzled, with some questioning what exactly was going on.
In a video posted on Threads, the man can be seen walking along a street at night. Aside from the full uniform, he was also seen carrying what appeared to be an imitation weapon.

The incident is believed to have taken place in a neighbourhood in Taman Bukit Desa, Kepong.
According to the post's caption, residents of the neighbourhood attempted to locate the man after the video was recorded. However, he was nowhere to be found, and his identity remains a mystery.
The police are looking for him
Meanwhile, Gombak District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Ibrahim Husin confirmed that a police report had been lodged regarding the incident and that authorities are now looking for the man.
The case is being investigated under Section 140 of the Penal Code for wearing the uniform of a soldier, sailor or airman without lawful authority. The offence carries a prison sentence of up to three months, a fine of up to RM1,000, or both.
Additionally, the case is also being investigated under Section 36 of the Arms Act 1960 for the offence of possessing or importing imitation weapons.
Members of the public with information regarding the incident are urged to contact the investigating officer, Inspector S. Prakash, at 012-294 0827 or the Gombak district police operations room at 03-6126 2222 to assist with investigations.
