Starting February 1, 2026, Rapid On-Demand (ROD) will adopt a fixed fare of RM2, as its promotional phase comes to an end.
In a report, Head of Planning and Strategy at Prasarana Malaysia Bhd Sharul Azwa Abd Rani said the revised fare will apply to holders of My50, Rapid Kota, Rapid Kembara and Rapid Keluarga passes.
“The current RM1 fare will end together with the Proof of Concept (POC) period. The fixed rate of RM2 will take effect starting February 1,” he said.
Electric vans (EVs) will also be gradually introduced into the Rapid On-Demand service.
