#GempakSpot: "Nanti Mak Saya Balik Subuh, Saya Makan Dengan Dia" - Wanita Kongsi Kisah Bertemu Budak Di Pusat Beli Belah
Something surreal happened to me last night. I met a boy at KLCC and he sort of changed my life.
I went to KLCC after work last night to buy some stuffs. Parked my car and stayed inside my car for a few minutes so I can finish off a video that I was watching on YouTube.
I parked my car betul-betul depan the exit where the escalators were and sat in my car completely oblivious. Tiba-tiba ada ketukan pada cermin kereta. I looked up and saw a Malay boy smiling at me. He was probably dalam 12 or 13 tahun macam tu and had quite a big built for his age.
He had curly hair and the sweetest smile ever. I wasn’t paying much attention to what he was wearing but I remember he had an oversized jacket on, in his hands he had a small bottle of air mineral and a thin piece of paper. So I rolled down my car window.
“Semekom kak. Saya bukan nak mencurik. Akak jangan takut.”
“Eh tak takut pun. Kenapa ye?” I was lying. I’m a woman alone at a parking lot with a stranger of course I was scared!
“Ha camni kak saya tadi datang sini saye beli tiket wayang cerita Maleficent.”
Rupanya kertas dia dok pegang tu tiket wayang dia
“Cerita pukul 9:00 malam kejap lagi. Tapi tadi abang tempat wayang tu cakap nanti malam-malam LRT tak pergi Wangsa Maju dah. Abang tu cakap dia boleh panggilkan Grab. Tapi tadi saya ada 10 ringgit saya dah topup Touch n Go” and showed me his TnG card.
He was going really fast but I could catch up la. “Aa haa okay...?”
“So kalau kejap lagi lepas wayang habis, boleh tak akak hantar saya balik rumah saya kat Wangsa Maju?”
EXCUSE ME WHAT?
“Awak umur berapa?”
“Saya tingkatan 1, Kak”
He said he came to KLCC lepas sekolah “sebab saya sekolah pagi” and took the train from Wangsa Maju. He came alone but told me his mother knows where he is.
“Wayang habis pukul berapa?”
“Pukul 10 kot. Paling lambat pun pukul 11 macam tu lah”
“Boleh lah akak eh. Akak kan sorang je dalam kereta. Ada la tempat saya nak duduk”
Lambat gila. Aku dah lah balik kejap lagi tak lalu pun Wangsa Maju. Tapi kesian pulak budak ni kalau cerita dia betul nanti dia nak balik macam mana?
“Akak tak lalu Wangsa Maju la dik. Akak nanti hala ke Seremban”
“Kalau camtu takpa la kak”
“Kalau akak bagi awak duit, awak boleh balik naik Grab sendiri tak?”
“Boleh. Ada abang dengan akak kat tempat wayang tu boleh tolong panggilkan Grab”
Lega sikit hati aku. Bear in mind I was still in my car, and talking to him through tingkap bukak separuh.
I was alone. So was he. I wasn’t paying attention to my surroundings before I saw him so tak tau nak expect apa. But by that time I thought tak ada benda kot nak risau. I asked him dah makan ke belum dia cakap belum tapi kalau akak belikan roti boleh jugak. Lapar rupanya.
So I stepped out of my car and walked with him towards the mall. He told me dia anak tunggal, mak kerja malam, subuh baru balik. Ayah tak ada sebab dah bercerai. Ayah dia suka pukul orang sebab itu mak dia minta cerai. Sekarang dia tinggal berdua je dengan mak dia. I didn’t ask any further.
“Kawan-kawan mana? Kenapa tak keluar dengan kawan-kawan?”
“Mak tak kasi keluar dengan diaorang sebab diaorang suka lepak kat Times Square dengan pompuan-perempuan, lepas tu diaorang suka hisap rokok. Kalau saya tak hisap rokok diaorang tak nak kawan.”
Adoihai! Dah 2019 pun TS ni masih tempat lepak kutu rayau ke wehh.
Sebab dia cakap nak roti, so we headed to the bakery dalam Isetan. Tapi dalam perjalanan ke Isetan tu lalu kat Famous Amos tiba-tiba dia cakap “hmm sedapnya biskut.” Perangai macam adik aku sebijik. I asked him “akak belikan awak biskut nak tak?” “Nak!!!”
So I bought one pack biskut kat dia. Bila nak bayar, I saw dia pegang Kinder Bueno lepas tu cepat-cepat letak balik. Then we went to Isetan tapi tiba-tiba dia cakap “takpa lah Kak, biskut ni cukup je. Belikan air je la kat saya. Nanti Akak nak bagi duit Grab lagi.”
My heart menangis. “Betul ni? Karang kalau lapar macam mana?”
“Takpa nanti Mak saya balik subuh, saya nanti makan dengan dia sama-sama”
My heart again luluh. Lambat lagi nak subuh ni. I managed to convince him to accept me buying him a bottle of 100plus and the Kinder Bueno he was eyeing on earlier.
By then it was almost 9pm so I told him he should be on his way to TGV. I took out RM50 from my purse and gave it to him
“Kejap lagi mungkin Grab akan mahal sebab dah malam so adik simpan elok-elok ye duit ni.”
“Banyak nya Kak! Kalau ada lebih saya nak buat belanja sekolah boleh?”
Aduih budak ni! So precious. I smiled and said “boleh dik”
“Terima kasih Kak! Semoga Allah murahkan rezeki Akak!”
Then he salam my hand and told me “nanti balik saya nak singgah food court kat rumah nak beli nasi goreng lah.”
“Ha bagus. Nanti makan eh.”
Before we parted ways I asked for his name, he said “kawan-kawan panggil Ayie je.”
“Okay Ayie. Kirim salam mak awak ya.”
“Okay, terima kasih Akak”
And that was it.
Honestly was so tempted to send him to TGV myself, wait till his movie finishes and then drive him home but it was already late. I had my own errands to run and my husband and child were waiting for me to come home.
Wanted to call a Grab for him myself but I didn’t want to seem too controlling. Maybe I should’ve. Haihh. Wherever Ayie is I hope he enjoyed Maleficent, had a pleasant ride home and that he had his nasi goreng eventually.
Apparently a lot of yous have been seeing this kid around KL too huh? thanks for sharing your stories with me. I guess I/we should all be more careful next time hahahahaha But I’ll be honest, I don’t regret doing what I did though.
I mean I’ll always going to assume the best in people. What happens outside of those 20mins I spent with him was out of my control anyway. Though now thinking back maybe I should’ve been more inquisitive / kepochi.
I’m honestly fine with what I did, but will be more careful next time. But now reading all the things people are sharing, I’m even more concerned. Dia ni sekolah ke tak? Why is he always at malls? Mana mak bapak dia? He’s too young to not have his parents care about his whereabouts.
Nota: Ramai juga yang meninggalkan komen memberitahu bahawa mereka turut bertemu dengan budak tersebut. Ramai yang memuji keprihatinan Hanan dan tidak kurang juga meminta Hanan berhati-hati di lain masa.
