The name myTukar shouldn’t be a foreign one, given of the company’s aggressive push to get the name out. So far, the online car trading platform has been partnering up with various companies in the effort to offer a broader range of vehicles to searchers. And, in partnership with CapBay, they were able to make available funds for struggling dealerships. As if that isn’t enough, myTukar will have opened seven new branches before the year’s end.

Already, myTukar has opened new branches in Melaka, Penang and Ipoh. The upcoming four will be opened in Kuantan, Batu Pahat, Seremban and Johor Bahru. The JB branch will also be the company’s Southern Logistics hub and a significant hub for car inspection.

All new branches can have up to three cars inspected at any given time with qualified inspectors going through a 158-point inspection. Each inspection is targeted to be completed within 30 minutes. The branches are equipped with Wi-Fi, refreshments and a comfortable waiting lounge. myTukar aims to serve up to 300 cars per day when all branches are fully operational.
