Ariana Grande was joined by an all-star lineup at a benefit concert held in Manchester on Sunday.

The ‘One Love Manchester’ event, which was one of the largest gatherings of musical artists this year, was dedicated to the victims from the 22 May suicide bombing attack.

Marcus Mumford from Mumford & Sons opened the show after the crowd held a moment of silence.

Among the artists who performed at the charity concert were Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Robbie Williams, Take That, Liam Gallagher and Little Mix.

Despite yet another deadly attack in central London just 24 hours before, Grande returned to the stage to face the massive crowd of 50,000 for a night of unity and healing.

“I want to thank you for coming together and being so loving and strong and unified.

"I love you guys so much, and I think that the kind of love and unity that you're displaying is the medicine that the world really needs right now,” said the 23-year-old singer.

Throughout the night, fans held signs with the words ‘We stand together’ and ‘For our angels’.

Grande made appearances with her fellow colleagues throughout the concert, singing "Don’t Look Back In Anger" with Coldplay’s Chris Martin and "Where is the Love" with the Black Eyed Peas.

She was also joined on stage by students from a local high school, some of whom were at the Manchester Arena concert that fateful night to perform her hit song "My Everything".

The night ended with Grande and the other stars singing "One Last Time" as well as her solo rendition of "Over the Rainbow".

The charity concert successfully raised £2 million (RM9.6 million) via text and online donations, bringing the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund to a total of over £10 million (RM48 million).
