Malaysians are huge fans of the all things Korean and now there's data to back how cray cray we actually are.



According to statistics collected by Twitter and fandom data observatory K-pop Radar, Malaysian K-pop fans make up the seventh biggest market for K-pop-related conversations on Twitter by tweet volume.

The data showed that we were ahead of Japan, Mexico and Argentina and behind Thailand, South Korea, Philippines, USA and Brazil.

According to a report in Malay Mail, the highest number of mentions by Malaysian users in tweets are about BTS, EXO, TXT and Blackpink.



In fact, the K-Pop phenomenon is so big that there are now 300 K-pop topics sorted by artist names that can be followed via Twitter.

So K-pop fam, you're definitely making a mark!
