This Hit Indonesian Family Film Is Coming To Malaysia’s TV Screens Soon
We know a lot off movie buffs out there are having withdrawal symptoms of not being able to go the cinemas to catch a movie on the big screen while munching on some delicious popcorn due to the Movement Control Order.
Well hang in there, this phase shall pass but in the meantime, we‘ve got some great news.
Hit Indonesian family drama film ‘Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini’ (NKCTHI) is coming to our shores soon.
Right to your TV screen
You may not be able to experience it in a cinema hall due to the MCO but you can do so from the comfort of your couch as the film is set to premiere exclusively on Astro First on 23 April.
The film became a huge phenomenon in Indonesia, with a total of 2.2 million viewers, making it the highest grossing family drama film in Indonesia.
The story of 'NKCTHI' revolves around Narendra and his three children –Angkasa, Aurora and Awan following the death of his wife.
The film is an adaptation of the best-selling Indonesian book of the same name and marks the collaboration between Astro Shaw and award-winning Indonesian production house, Visinema Pictures.
“This story is close to our own lives as a son or daughter, regardless of whether we are the eldest, the middle child, or the youngest. This film also captures the capacity of parents to express their love to their children and family.
“It is hoped that this would spur the hearts of your families and become an experience that would make us reflect upon ourselves and our families in the midst of this pandemic,” says Anggia Kharisma, producer of Visinema Pictures.
Enjoy 'NKCTHI' at the cinema in your very own home from 23 April when it is released for the first time, exclusively on Astro First (Ch 480) at only RM15, for viewing for 48 hours (two days).
