Indonesian Band’s Song About Coronavirus Goes Massively Viral, Gets 2.7 MILLION Views
The Coronavirus, or Covid-19, has taken a toll on everyone around the world not only physically but also emotionally.
In light of the deadly virus, an Indonesian rock band has come up with a song to talk about it.
An origin song
The band, Gamelan Faiz Rock a.k.a. Gafarock’s song ‘Virus Corona’ tells the origin of the virus and throws caution to everyone as the virus can spread anywhere.
Although the concept of the song may seem unusual in the wake of the lethal virus, its music video has managed to rake up to over 2.7 million views within the span of just three weeks.
The video somehow starts off by showing a group of bats hanging upside down while the band performs in some random forest.
Perhaps due to dialect and pronunciation differences, the singer starts of by singing “cho-ro-na, cho-ro-na” instead of saying it with a ‘k’ sound.
The music used in the video was originally taken from the song titled "Jaranan" by the late composer Ki Hadisukatno.
Fans left positive comments on the video saying that they enjoyed the song and also prayed that everyone especially in Indonesia are protected from the coronavirus.
Well, we guess with everything serious going on, it’s nice to have something that’ll entertain us during these testing times.
So, do you like the song?
