Earlier this year, Nickelodeon announced that Legends of the Hidden Temple will make a comeback as a new 90-minute movie on their channel. 90s kids were immediately thrilled by the announcement as this was the show that everyone wanted to be in back then. Imagine how exciting it would be running the course while trying to avoid the Temple Guards in order to succeed your task – assembling the coveted Shrine of the Silver Monkey.

The new trailer tells how three siblings; Sadie (Isabela Moner), Noah (Colin Critchley), and Dudley (Jet Jurgensmeyer) ended up finding the real temple in The Hidden Temple theme park (how ‘subtle’, Nickelodeon). Your favourite host, Kirk Fogg will also be in the movie!

After watching the trailer, we know that some of you out there are secretly hoping that the temple will be an attraction at some theme park so that you can materialize your childhood dream despite of your age. Who wouldn’t want to run across some hidden, dodgy temple, filled with feathered guards, anyway?

The first trailer initially dropped on July 23rd but received mixed reaction from fans. A majority of them were upset that instead of bringing the actual show back, Nickelodeon ended up making a movie out of it. A Youtube comment left on the trailer also suggested that it “Looks like this should have stayed hidden."

Do you think the new movie will translate the original TV show seamlessly or will it be an utter disappointment to fans?

Legends of The Hidden Temple is set to premiere on Saturday, November 26th.
