If there’s one man that doesn’t need to say much to make us cackle until our stomach hurts, it’s the one and only Mr. Bean.

From the TV show to the two standalone movies, there’s never a dull moment watching the iconic British character’s antics.

But weirdly enough, the actor, Rowan Atkinson, has admitted recently that he doesn’t enjoy playing the titular character anymore.

What’s wrong, Mr. Bean?

Which version do you prefer?
According to Deadline, Rowan Atkinson says he doesn’t enjoy playing Mr. Bean in a live action setting.

“It’s easier for me to perform the character vocally than visually,” Atkinson said.

“I don’t much enjoy playing him. The weight of responsibility is not pleasant. I find it stressful and exhausting and I look forward to the end of it.”

However, he did admit that he’s currently in the midst of developing a new ‘Mr. Bean’ animated film.

Well, the man's been playing the same old character for years so it must've took a toll on him and perhaps an animated setting is more suited for him at his age.

So, whether you love it or not Rowan, we still enjoy watching you on screen and we can’t wait for the upcoming ‘Mr. Bean’ animated film!
