It’s been a few months since we last mourned Tony Stark’s death, even as we caught a glimpse of him in ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’.

Many fans were excited to learn that Iron Man will be ‘resurrected’ in Disney+’s upcoming original TV show but many will probably be over the moon to know that he’ll also return in Natasha Romanoff’s standalone film, ‘Black Widow’.

According to entertainment website Deadline, Robert Downey Jr. will reportedly reprise his role as the lead Avenger in ‘Black Widow’, which is slated to debut in May 2020.

But before you get a headache trying to do the math, ‘Black Widow’ is actually a prequel film, taking place before the ‘Avengers’ but is set after ‘Captain America: Civil War’, so the movie will be set during a time where Tony was probably coaxing Natasha into joining the gang.

Iron Widow, anyone?
No word yet on how big or small Mr. Stark’s role is (for all we know, it could just be a cameo), but it’s not too long until 2020 so we’ll find out eventually.

‘Black Widow’ will be the first film to kick off the fourth phase of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe and will star Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, O-T Fagbenle, and many more.
