If you're a human being, you really can't escape death and taxes, but you can, however, soon escape from the 'Fast & Furious' movie franchise.

The end is near

Entertainment website Deadline reported that the movie studio behind the blockbuster films, Universal, is planning to wrap up the billion-dollar franchise with two more movies.

The two movies will reportedly not include 'Fast 9', which is currently in the post-production stage and is scheduled for release in April 2020.

According to the report, the final two films will very likely the Part One and Part Two format made popular by the 'Twilight' and 'Harry Potter' franchise.

Malaysia-born director Justin Lin, who has directed the past six 'F&F' movies, will reportedly be the man behind the camera for the final two films as well.

Not only that, the report also stated that the studio has big plans for the final two films, as they will be focusing on the man that made 'F&F' popular: Vin Diesel.

On top of that, the studio is also looking to bring back some very familiar faces for the last two movies: Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce), Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (Tej Parker), Jordana Brewster (Mia Toretto), Nathalie Emmanuel (Megan Ramsey) and Sung Kang (Han).

Notably missing from the list are Gal Gadot (noooo!!!), Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson (Luke Johnson) and Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw), but it's still too early to tell; who knows, they might find a way to bring them back for one truly last ride.
