Hey 80s and 90s kids, do you remember watching the film ‘Honey I Shrunk the Kids’ growing up?
The film tells the tale about an inventor and scientist Wayne Szalinski who accidentally shrunk his kids after successfully building a shrink gun.
Produced by Disney, the film received rave reviews and even had two sequels and one TV show.
Well, if you missed seeing the whole family’s crazy antics, get ready because you’re about be served a reboot!

According to Deadline, a new ‘Honey I Shrunk the Kids’ reboot is on its way and it’ll feature an original cast member – Rick Moranis who played Wayne Szalinski.The reboot will be titled ‘Shrunk’ with Joe Johnston returning to the director’s chair.
Since Moranis is already 66, the new reboot will be about his son, Nick, played by Josh Gad who aspires to follow his inventive footsteps.
However, Nick’s ambitions suddenly downsized when he also accidentally shrinks his own kids.
Disney is planning to a theatrical release for ‘Shrunk’ instead of doing so on its streaming platform, Disney+.To say it is a dream come true to once again see #RickMoranis on the big screen is the understatement of the decade.
