The most anticipated spy movie of the year is finally here!
Kingsman: The Golden circle is back with a vengeance and packs more punch (literally) than the first installment of the movie.Everyone’s favourite British spies are back once again to save the world. But this time, it’s them who need saving after their headquarters were blown to smithereens.
Rojak Daily got a chance to catch an early preview of the movie, and it was nowhere near being a disappointment and to be honest, it was by far the best movie we’ve seen in 2017 (sorry Dunkirk).
And in case you’re still on the fence (what's wrong with you?), here are five reasons that will definitely convince you to go watch it:
#1 The Real Galahad Is Back
If you’ve watched trailers, you know that there’s one person you’d never expect to see in this movie – Harry Hart a.k.a Galahad - but voila, there he is. If you’ve watched Kingsman: The Secret Service, you’d probably remember that Galahad was brutally shot in the face by Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson). By now, the curiousity must've driven you to the point of insanity; how on Earth did he rise from the dead to kick more butts? Did he even die in the first place? What's with the butterfly net shown on the poster? Well prepare yourselves, because it’s going to shock you.
#2 The Fight Scenes Will Make Your Jaw Drop
The action scenes in Kingsman: The Secret Service were truly mind-blowing, but nothing will prepare you for the ones you’ll be seeing in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. James Bond who? This is how real British spies brawl! Even though there’s a lot of violence involved, they still managed to be gentlemanly about it.
#3 Elton John Is In The Movie For An Important Reason
We know the second installment of Kingsman has a star-studded cast, from Halle Berry to Channing Tatum to yes, even Sir Elton John. Before you think “Oh, Elton John must be a cameo and will just be in the background playing music”, well, you're wrong. Let’s just say besides singing, he will put on a spectacular ‘performance’ at the end of the movie.
#4 Their Gadgets Are So Canggih, You’d Wish They Actually Exist
Honestly, a watch that can hack into any electronic system? A freaking electrical lasso rope? Blue perfume bottle bombs that freeze your opponents? Shut up and take our money already!
#5 Their American Cousins Are Super Cool
The Statesman is the American version of the Kingsman, and both secret spy organisations have been around for a very, very long time. We’ve seen how awesome and ‘power’ the British suave spies are but what about The Statesman? Can they put up an equally epic fight as their British brothers? Spoiler alert: don't blink.
