With the holy month of Ramadan underway, the anticipation of breaking fast with friends and families becomes a cherished tradition. While food at Ramadan bazaars may offer a wide selection of food, it can be quite tricky to cater to every whim.

So, with that in mind, this year, elevate your iftar experience by indulging in the sumptuous buffet spreads offered by some of the finest hotels.

From traditional delicacies to international cuisines, here are 10 hotels in and around Klang Valley that are pulling out all the stops to provide a memorable iftar experience.

1. Royale Chulan Damansara

This Ramadan, Royale Chulan Damansara has curated a buffet menu featuring the best Malay cuisine and Malaysian favourites combined with Asian and international dishes in over 150 dishes.

The main course of their Warna Rasa Ramadan Buffet includes Kambing Golek that has been roasted to perfection. For dessert enthusiasts, you can break your fast with a delightful selection of traditional Kuih Melayu and Western pastries.

There will also be live music performances to enhance your dining experience. But do note that the performances are only available on Fridays and the weekends. The buffet is available from 2nd to 30th March 2025.

2. The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur

From 3rd to 29th March, The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur invites everyone to enjoy their spectacular Kembara Cita Rasa Nusantara Dinner Buffet.

This exquisite buffet menu was curated by Executive Sous Chef Raduan Ahmad, and it features a traditional feast that incorporates both Malay and Arabic spices.

We went for the tasting session and loved the Nasi Kambing Kambus Terbalik, which was infused with biryani and mandy spices with tender lamb and fragrant rice. We also enjoyed the freshly grilled satay which was super tender and juicy.

3. W Hotel Kuala Lumpur

W Hotel Kuala Lumpur's Bazaar Malam is a buffet spread that blends Pan-Asian, Middle Eastern, and local Malaysian cuisines.

You can expect to find Middle Eastern delights like the slow-cooked Lamb Ouzi served with Basmati Rice and freshly baked Flat Bread with Garlic Zaatar and Cheese and a wide variety of Kebab selections. Don’t forget to be on the lookout for their crowd favourite Roti John Lobster.

If you are looking for more Malaysian dishes to break your fast with the Bazaar Malam buffet also features Satay, Nasi Impit, and Curry Laksa Udang Galah.

The Jom Balik Kampung buffet from The Westin Kuala Lumpur features an extensive buffet that showcases the traditional flavours of ‘Kampung’-inspired cuisines.

They offer various stations with an array of mouth-watering selections, like the soup station where you can find hearty soup like Sup Kambing Gearbox and Signature Rendang Corner, where a variety of rendang dishes await. The rendang can be enjoyed with their lemang, ketupat palas, and burasak bugis, as well as various condiments like serunding.

To complement this feast, the buffet also offers a selection of Malaysian favourites’ drinks like Nescafe tarik, Neslo, Soya Cincau, and many more.

Hilton Kuala Lumpur's Exquisite Ramadan Showcase buffet boasts a variety of local and international cuisines reimagined with a contemporary flair.

We got the opportunity to preview their offerings, and we thought that the slow-baked Australian beef short ribs were divine, and the serunding kelapa combined with the unique sambal strawberry creates a perfect pairing with the rich meat.

Meanwhile, the special Ramadan menu extends beyond Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Other Hilton properties in and around the Klang Valley, such as Hilton Petaling Jaya, DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City, and Hilton Garden Inn Puchong, will each showcase their own signature dishes.
