This is not a fancy new attraction in Malaysia, but it is indeed a fancy place for fancy people to shop for… fancy, luxurious hijabs!”
Bawal Exclusive has just recently opened the doors to their first luxury boutique, Crystal World by Bawal Exclusive.
A world worth millions of Ringgit
According to Gempak, Bawal Exclusive founder and owner Haliza Masyuri says her dream of having a luxurious boutique has finally come true.
“It all started when I attended Swarovski’s 125th anniversary in Wattens, Austria,” she told the Malay portal.
“I was taken away by the breathtaking laser rays in the hall that was created from a single Swarovski crystal.”
Since then she was determined to bring such splendour to Malaysia, and she's finally done it with her Crystal World boutique.
Interestingly, building the boutique and adorning it with 100,000 crystals reportedly cost Haliza a whopping RM2.5 million.
The boutique will also house luxurious hijabs with the price ranging from RM10,000 to RM113,000.
Customers can only shop via appointment only at the boutique located at Bandar Bukit Puchong, Puchong, Selangor.
Leaving the multi-million business to a 22-year-old
If the amount spent on the boutique alone didn’t surprise you enough, wait until you hear who will be running the business.
The luxury hijab founder revealed that she will soon give her business to her 22-year-old son as she plans to retire after 23 years in the industry.
“I’m getting older and I don’t think I can do it anymore. It’s time for him to run the business.”
So, who do you think will come and shop at the Crystal World by Bawal Swarovski?
