A couple of weeks ago, the one food trend that no one can stop talking about is none other than the Dalgona Coffee.

It's simple to make, it looks great for the 'gram and from what we heard, it tastes super good.

But of course, Dalgona Coffee is so 1996. We were wondering if there's someone out there who could elevate the simple drink into a classy, more atas version.

So, we asked our friends from Wholly Spirits for help, and they did not disappoint.

Introducing...the Mr. Dalgonamaro Highball.

Easy to make

Just like the OG Dalgona Coffee, Mr. Dalgonamaro Highball is also super easy to make.

But first, this is what you need:

To make the Dalgona foam:
1 tbsp Nescafe instant coffee powder
1 tbsp Brown sugar
1 tbsp Hot water

To make the rest of the cocktail:
1 tbsp Mr.Black Coffee Amaro
1 btl East Imperial Old World Tonic
1 nos Orange peel

The first step, we would need to make the Dalgona foam.

You can do so by adding all the ingredients in a bowl (1 tbsp Nescafe instant coffee powder, 1 tbsp brown sugar and1 tbsp hot water). By using a hand mixer, whisk the conconction until it blondes and it becomes super fluffy.

Then, you'll need to add in n the Mr. Black Coffee Amaro (you can get it here) into the Dalgona mix, and give it a gentle mix.

Whisk the foam again for a good minute or slightly less to fully incorporate the mix.

Once that's done, you can start prepping the rest of the drink.

In a highball/tall glass, add in ice cubes until 1/3 full, then empty out a bottle of East Imperial Old World Tonic into the glass.

Using a spoon, gently scoop or pour the Dalgona x Amaro mix onto the surface of the tonic water.

For a little tangy flavour, you could peel off an orange peel, perfume the surface of the glass and discard the peel.

Before taking a sip, stir the drink well.

And there you go, you've made your very own Dalgona Coffee with a twist.
