When it comes to headline-grabbing food, KFC has been on a roll lately.

Earlier this year, KFC Hong Kong launched the spicy chicken and nuts mooncake in conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Festival. Then, KFC US decided to introduce the vegetarian fried chicken.

Just when we thought we've seen it all, KFC China wants you to hold their drumstick as they introduce the one thing nobody asked for: durian nuggets.

This GIF has never been more appropriate.
According to a report by Newsweek, the one-of-a-kind nuggets are sold as it is for 11.50 Chinese Yuan (RM6.70) for a box of four-pieces, or part of KFC’s snack platter of wings, fries, and a Pepsi.

Here's the kicker: these are not just durian-flavoured chicken nuggets, because when you bite into one, you’ll get hot durian paste oozing out of it.

Which means that one poor soul has to fill up hundreds of chicken nuggets with durian paste every day.

Apparently, it has received mixed reviews from Chinese customers with some loving the taste, while others turned their nose up at it.

But what do you guys think? Would you love it if the menu is introduced in Malaysia?
