We all know the feeling when Monday blues kick in. Sometimes, we feel so lazy or so demotivated to go to work that we would cook up tonnes of excuses to not turn up at the office.

While ‘my cat died’ or ‘my car broke down’ could be the most common excuses, this man takes the cake for trying to be literal with his excuse.

According to this story on Digital Synopsis, Twitter user @PapaBoardslide boasted in a tweet that he once Photoshopped a flat tyre on his car just so that he could skip work.

“Proudest moment of my life was photoshopping my tire being flat to get out of work, I really finessed,” he tweeted, with an attached ‘before’ and ‘after’ Photoshopped photo.
To make things even more outrageous, the Photoshopped picture looked absolutely Photoshopped: the hubcap of the vehicle was different from the original photo and the lug wrench looked like it was floating in mid air.

Despite that, he got away with it!

Twitter users sang praises for the man’s bold move and A+ creativity, with some saying that he should be promoted to become the CEO of the company.
