8 June marked the annual birthday celebration for our beloved Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

While many enjoyed the public holiday at home with their families while paying tribute to our beloved king on social media, some went the extra mile to bake custom cakes for His Majesty, including famed local baker, Banker2Baker.

Inspired by the royal outfit

The baker recently went viral on Twitter and Instagram after he shared photos of his majestic creation to commemorate the special occasion.

According to Banker2Baker, the cake’s inspiration was taken directly from YDPA’s royal outfit, the Muskat and Tengkolok Diraja.

The two-tier cake’s exquisite design and impeccable detailing in regal tones of gold and cream wowed netizens, who were clearly impressed.

In April, Banker2Baker went viral after the baker created a special cake for our national hero, Health Director-General Dato’ Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

It has been our honour and a privilege to create this cake for you ? Dear Dr., your dedication, determination, and vision inspires us to always give our best. We appreciate having someone wonderful like you at the helm of affairs. Do have a happy birthday and may Allah swt bless you, your family and your team always ✨✨✨ . Ps. A very big thank to ex-BNM Examiners for ordering ??? @noor_hisham_abdullah @drnoorhishamfans
