Sometimes, it doesn't take a lot to show some kindness, even to animals.

This one Malaysian man showed us how.

Faith in humanity restored

A couple of videos shared by one Apih McQuinn on Facebook showing him rescuing a poisoned doggo have gone viral on the social media site.

According to Apih, the poor doggo stumbled into his house at around 3.30am one day, foaming at its mouth and shaking all over.

Figuring that the doggo might have been poisoned, Apih quickly leapt into action, draping a towel over it to keep it warm.

Apih then plucked two coconuts and fed the doggo with coconut water in hopes of flushing out the poison from its system.

To keep the doggo calm, Apih can be heard talking to it while feeding it with more coconut water.

However, in one of the videos, it seemed that Apih's kind deed was all for naught as the sickly doggo seemed unresponsive.

Miraculously, the doggo made a full recovery the next day as it managed to stand on its feet.

Apih wrote that he fed the doggo some sardines, and it went on its merry way after that.

Netizens were quick to heap praises on Apih, with many thanking him for saving the poor doggo despite it not being his pet.

Apih said that he was not a veterinarian, but he tried to help it as much as it could because "dogs are God's creation".

Well done, Apih! Thank you so much for saving the poor doggo.
