If you're a fan of musicals, you will definitely be excited for this one.

The screen adaptations of popular musicals by Andew Lloyd Webber will be streamed for free on YouTube in a new series called 'The Shows Must Go On'.

The initiative aims to entertain people while they stay at home during the COVID-19 crisis.

From stage to screen

According to Whats On Stage, the series will begin with the 2000 adaptation of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'.

It stars Donny Osmond, Maria Friedman, Richard Attenborough and Joan Collins.

Each musical will be streamed on Friday at 7 pm (UK time) for 48 hours on the YouTube channel.

The second show to be featured would be the 2012 screen adaptation of 'Jesus Christ Superstar' starring Tim Minchin, Melanie C and Chris Moyles.
