Boys and girls, if there’s one good deed you would like to do this month, make it donating blood, especially to the Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II located in Kota Bharu.

This is because the blood bank at the hospital is at a critical level.

According to a report by Bernama, the existing blood bags in its storage are only enough to last for the next three days.

Oh no! That's not good.

The hospital’s director Datuk Dr Selasawati Ghazali has urged Malaysians to come forward and donate blood as the hospital was facing an increase in emergency cases and surgeries.

It doesn’t help that the blood bank supplies went down because of high demand during the Aidilfitri period, Dr Selasawati said.

At the moment, the staff at the hospital are donating their own blood to help manage the shortage in supply, but they still need your help, fellow Malaysians!

So, boys and girls, donate blood to save some lives now!
