Carsome Set To Go Public on New York’s Nasdaq and Singapore Stock Exchange

The Malaysian used car marketplace is set to go public on New York's Nasdaq and the Singapore Stock Exchange with a company valuation of US$2 billion, reported Mashable SEA.

The report said the company has filed for the initial public offering (IPO) with Nasdaq, targetting US$400 million in funds raised.

The report further added that Carsome was founded by Eric Cheng in 2015 and served as a vehicle comparison website before becoming a used car marketplace.

The company currently has 175 physical inspection points throughout Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore and offers services such as used car dealerships, financing and ownership transfers.
