Malaysia Airlines (MAS) recently made headlines with an all-women flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu.
In a proud post on Facebook, MAS shared that flight MH2610 was operated entirely by women, from the ground operations team, including check-in agents, engineers, and security officers, to the cabin crew and pilots.

“With women now making up 36% of Malaysia Aviation Group's workforce, surpassing IATA's 25by2025 target, this milestone marks not just progress, but a powerful reminder that the sky has no limits.”
At the end of the post, MAS expressed hope that the flight would inspire others to dream bigger and break barriers.
Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time MAS honoured the women in its workforce. Back in 2023, flight MH2520 from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching was also operated by an all-women team.
