In a world where people mostly think ‘finders are keepers’, it’s refreshing to find that there are still honest people out there.

A taxi driver from Singapore is a perfect example of this.

Mothership Singapore reported that Nicholas Lim dropped off a passenger one evening and took a break for about two hours after that.

An expensive bag.

Little did he know at that time that the passenger had left his Hermès shopping bag in the back seat.

The bag was discovered by a passenger he picked up next, who asked him about it.

A very happy customer

Lim then waited for the owner of the bag to call him. He received a call from the passenger later that day.

Without saying much or even asking the passenger to pay the fare to bring the bag to his location, Lim delivered it safely to its owner.

For his honesty, he was rewarded with a S$100 (RM304) ang pow.

Appreciating the honesty.

Lim shared the story on a Facebook group for taxi drivers in Singapore and people loved it.

Most said that the passenger was really lucky to have left it in Lim's ride because not everyone is as honest.

We're not sure exactly what was in the shopping bag but if it was a Hermès bag, they can sell for up to tens of thousands of ringgit.

Honestly, we think the passenger should have given him an even bigger ang pow!
