Among the ‘measures’ they have implemented include getting anti-maskers to do push-ups, counting to 100 and honouring the national flag, to lying down in a coffin and praying for COVID-19 victims at cemeteries in the middle of the night.

Teach them a lesson
In the latest series of punishment and in a bid to get more locals to wear face masks, Indonesian authorities have ordered anti-maskers to dig graves for COVID-19 victims.Yep, that's right: they have to turung padang and get their hands dirty.
Cerme district head Suyono told CNN that this punishment was chosen because local cemeteries are currently facing the lack of manpower, and he felt this would be the perfect way to teach local anti-maskers in the district a lesson.
“There are only three available gravediggers at the moment. So, I thought I might as well put these people to work with them. Hopefully, this can create a deterrent effect against violations,” Suyono told local news portal Tribun News.
However, he said the authorities stop short of getting the anti-maskers from being involved in the actual burials of COVID-19 victims as that require a certain level of security.
So far, a total of eight Indonesians from the Cerme district of Gresik Regency have been given the punishment on 9 September, as they were assigned to assist gravediggers by digging the grave and laying wooden boards in the hole to support the corpse.
We don't know about you, but we feel that this is a pretty good punishment to those who are still refusing to wear a face mask in public.
