A local university graduate has won the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) World Championship.

According to a report by New Straits Times, Danny Tse Wei Chun from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman beat 65,000 other contestants from all over the world to take the champion title.

The competition, which tests students' design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InXDesign, was held online from 16 November to 18 November.

In the final round of the competition, all the finalists were given a period of six hours to come up with three marketing asset designs to be judged on including visual appeal, ability to meet the client's requirements, brand aesthetics, as well as their professional usage of Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

Tse, who is a digital animation graduate from UTAR Faculty of Creative Industries, was chosen as the winner among 51 finalists for delivering the message through digital illustrations for Limbitless Solutions, a US-based bionics manufacturer.
