Last week, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that the prime minister will be making an announcement on Monday regarding stricter measures to combat the ever increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in the country.
Since then, speculation is rife that MCO will be reinstated in some states. However, Ismail had asked people to not pay heed to rumours and assured the enough time will be given for people to prepare for any changes.
"Do not be influenced by rumours on social media, for example, last night, there was talk that the police will mount roadblocks and not allow people to leave the house, but nothing like that happened.
"So, don't worry, there will be an announcement tomorrow… and we will know what needs to be done after that. Therefore, do not preempt the situation and go on a panic-buying spree and so on," Ismail reportedly said.
Well, it's Monday, and like the rest of the country, we're also eagerly awaiting even a hint of when the announcements will be made but so far we haven't found much new information about it.
People are angry and frustrated
The waiting game is never fun especially for something as important as measures to deal with a pandemic and a lockdown that will impact many people and the country economically.People are understandably angry as the day passes by without much of an update from the leaders of the country.

Well, looks like we will just have to wait and see for now.
Meanwhile, let's #KitaJagaKita as usual and follow existing SOPs, only go out when absolutely necessary and do everything within our powers to stop the spread of the virus.
