Preliminary investigations revealed that the incident was triggered by the suspect's dissatisfaction after the dashcam owner repeatedly flashed his high beams at him.

In the video, a black car can be seen cutting into the right lane without signalling before stopping in front of another vehicle. Two men then exit the car, with one of them brandishing a machete and angrily gesturing for the driver to get out of his vehicle.
Sensing danger, the driver immediately reversed his vehicle and swerved into the left lane before driving away from the scene.
In a report, it is understood that the driver was on his way to Senai International Airport to drop off his wife and child when the altercation took place.
