From her historic Oscar achievements to news of her future star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Rojak Daily has basically turned into a Michelle Yeoh fansite, and the good news continues for Malaysia’s brightest star. Oscar winner Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh has finally tied the knot with Datuk Seri Jean Todt, former CEO of Ferrari. They were married on 27 July in Geneva surrounded by loving family and friends after 6,992 days or 19 years of being engaged.

The news was revealed by Brazilian F1 racer Felipe Massa, on his Instagram account on 27 July, congratulating the newlyweds with a sweet message: “Happy marriage #JeanTodt & #michelleyeoh love you so much”.

During the ceremony, the Ipoh-born bride glowed in an ankle-length beige coloured dress while the groom looked distinguished in a dark blue suit. From the images shared, it appeared to be an intimate and simple ceremony.

77-year-old Todt first met Yeoh, 60 back on 4 June 2004 in Shanghai, China when the actress was doing publicity for Ferrari there. After only one and a half months of dating and a whirlwind romance, the French F1 legend proposed on 26 July 2004.

According to US magazine, the couple initially planned to have a wedding after they got engaged but ‘no dates worked because they both were so busy with their careers’.

Todt has frequently been seen supporting Yeoh in the background as she attended events and garnered awards left and right following the success of her 2022 film ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once.’

This is Yeoh’s second marriage as she was previously married to Hong Kong business magnate Dickson Poon from 1988 to 1992. She has cited her inability to have children as the reason for their divorce. In 1998 she was also engaged to American cardiologist Alan Heldman.

As of the time of writing, neither Yeoh or Todt have publicly announced or commented on their marriage. Congratulations to the happy couple!
